This P3 funded rapid transit line will extend from the existing Millennium SkyTrain Line in Burnaby, through the community of Port Moody and all the way to the Coquitlam Town Shopping Centre in Coquitlam.
In July 2010, the B.C. Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure issued a RFQ to identify private partners to design, build, and finance the project, and will now choose up to three teams to submit RFPs. Construction is set to begin in summer 2011, once the EA certificate has been issued, with completion expected in 2014.
